Bay Massage & Skin Care began providing massage therapy on Bainbridge Island in 1993. By 1997, the business expanded to include a full menu of skin care treatments and waxing services. The staff at Bay Massage & Skin Care combines their skills to offer you the very best in personalized service.
The goal of our massage therapists is to assist their clients in achieving optimum health through reduced anxiety, enhanced relaxation and injury recovery. They specialize in Swedish and deep tissue massage, injury treatment, Hot Stone therapy and pregnancy massage.
Our licensed skin care therapists approach skin care with a holistic integrated philosophy. They believe the skin is a mirror of all the external and internal influences from our body and treat the skin appropriately to provide the most valuable results to each client. Our skin care therapists believe education is the key to healthy skin and offer their expertise generously to all clients.

Darlene StapletonLicensed Skin Care Therapist
In 1997, Darlene received her skin care education through The Euro Institute after earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University. She immediately joined Kris Stapleton, a Licensed Massage Therapist on Bainbridge Island, to bring skin care services to Bay Massage. Darlene is passionate about education and also serves as an Instructor for Dermalogica skin products. She is certified in Dermaplaning, Nanoinfusion, Microneedling and many other advanced techniques.

Jessica DownsLicensed Massage Therapist
Jessica has been a licensed massage therapist since 1998 and joined the team at Bay Massage & Skin Care in 2003. Jessica enjoys seeing the results that massage therapy offers her clients. She specializes in deep tissue and sports massage. She is a provider for personal injury insurance. Jessica continues to expand her knowledge in massage therapy through educational programs.

Missy PearsonLicensed Skin Care TherapistMissy received her skin care education through the Euro Institute in 2010 after earning a degree in Community Health Education from Eastern Washington University. She joined Bay Massage & Skin Care in May of 2011. Having undergone rigorous treatment for adult acne herself, Missy is dedicated to helping others achieve optimum skin care health. She continues to receive training through the International Dermal Institute.

Aidan SievertsonLicensed Massage Therapist
Aidan completed the Professional Licensing Program at the Port Townsend School of Massage in 2019. She enjoys a range of modalities from relaxation to treatment-based work. Aidan’s philosophy is to meet every client where they are and provide a tailored session to suit their needs in that moment. She enjoys continuing her education with focus on lomi lomi, myofascial and counterstrain work.

Jes TischLicensed Skin Care Therapist
Jes received her professional skincare education through Evergreen Beauty College and joined Bay Massage & Skin Care in 2022. She has a passion for skin health and is always striving to expand her education. In addition to skin treatments, Jes is our in-house makeup artist and lash lift specialist! She is results driven and dedicated to showing her clients the tools to fall in love with their skin.

Gabriela BlairLicensed Massage Therapist
Gabriela, originally from Bolivia, is the newest addition to Bay Massage & Skin Care. She received her professional massage education from Port Townsend School of Massage. Gabriela has been trained in many different techniques that include relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point, sports and medical massage. She believes in the power of self care and the importance of investing in oneself. 'Bodywork is not just a luxury, but an essential part of health and wellness.'
